Tsukudani-Kombu “FUJICCONI”

“FUJICCONI” is thinly sliced kombu kelp simmered in soy sauce and seasoning. With its own special recipe, Fujicco adds savory depth of flavor. The product is available in sesame, shiitake mushroom, and various other flavors. It is very common to top a bowl of rice with “FUJICCONI”, but these days it is also popular as a topping for pasta or sushi.

Salted Kombu “FUJICCO”

“FUJICCO” is our signature product carrying the name of the company. Salted kombu is thinly shredded kombu which is carefully boiled in soy sauce and dried. Specially selected kombu is carefully cooked according to our own recipe. “FUJICCO” makes perfect match with rice, and also is a great addition or topping to pasta, salad, and other dishes.

Tororo-Kombu “JUNTORO”

Fujicco “JUNTORO” is shaved kombu made from vinegared kelp. After it is compressed into a block, the vinegared kombu is shaved into slivers as thin as 0.02 mm. Packed with a deoxidizer to remove oxygen that causes deterioration of product quality, the freshly-shaved flavor is kept until it arrives your kitchen. Kombu is high in dietary fiber. By shaving it into slivers thinner than the cellular size of kombu, “JUNTORO” becomes highly nutritious food as the dietary fiber is easier for the human body to use. Add to soup for udon or soba noodles or miso soup to enjoy its unique texture. Also good as a wrapping or garnish for onigiri (rice balls) instead of dried laver seaweed.

Dashi-Kombu

Traditionally, kombu has been used to make ‘dashi’ soup stock. In Japanese cooking, ‘dashi’ forms the base for most all dishes. Even simple wheat noodle ‘udon’ and buckwheat noodle ‘soba’ are fine dishes when served in delicious ‘dashi’ soup prepared from kombu, and the taste of ‘dashi’ is largely dependent on the quality of the kombu used. Fujicco “Dashi-Kombu” is made from only carefully selected best quality kelp.

Kombumaki

“Kombumaki” is rolled kelp pre-cooked and seasoned with soy sauce. In Japan, it is particularly popular as part of the special New Year’s meal known as ‘osechi’. Fujicco “Kombumaki” is pre-seasoned and quick cooking. Simply bring Fujicco “Kombumaki” to a simmer in hot water and enjoy authentic delicacy of Japanese food.

Boiled & Seasoned “OMAMESAN”

For “OMAMESAN”, our cooked bean products, we use carefully-selected beans with emphasis on their origin, quality, and size, and gently simmer them until they become tender, with soy sauce and sugar based on our original recipes. We offer various types such as soy beans, red kidney beans, black soybeans, veggie ‘n’ beans (soybeans cooked with vegetables), and more. Made from non-GMO soybeans only. Most products are made of beans harvested in Hokkaido.

Fujicco “Caspian Sea Yogurt” is our premium yogurt made from 100% raw milk from Hokkaido, and lactic acid bacteria Lactococcus lactis subsp. cremoris FC. Fermented at a low temperature over a long period of time, this plain yogurt has a viscous texture and extremely-mild acid flavor completely different from common yogurt on the market. With mild acidity, the yogurt can be served plain, or used as topping or ingredient in a variety of recipes.
