Isoflavones lower Breast Cancer Risk

A large scale prospective study by a team of the Japanese Ministry of Health, Welfare and Labour traced 20,000 women of 40-59 years old for 10 years and confirmed the relation of greater isoflavones intake and lower incidence rate from breast cancer. It was found that the incidence rate of postmenopausal women who take the highest isoflavones remains at 30% of that of those of the lowest intake.
