Functions and Effects

Bone Health

Bone is constantly subjected to metabolism. Osteoclast destruct bone and osteoblast create new bone. If bone absorption and bone formation are balanced, a bone will remain healthy.
One of the controllers is 'estrogen' and for aging women, due to the decrease of estrogen during and after menopause, osteoclast have a reckless run and bone absorption advances rapidly increasing the risk of osteoporosis.
Isoflavones have a molecular structure similar to that of estrogen and as phytoestrogen they act rather like the female hormone preventing bone absorption and protecting bone health.
In order to confirm this relationship, we have continued many studies.
