By intake of Isoflavones, the urinary excretion of Bone Absorption Marker decreases
Restriction of Ca elution from bone was proven
First in the world - Isoflavones Intervention Study

Intervention studies by the intake of isoflavones were carried out in various regions. It was confirmed that the urinary excretion of isoflavones increases and that of bone absorption marker decreases.
In the case of Brazilian Japanese women, by isoflavone intake of 23.3mg/day for 10 weeks, the urinary isoflavone increased and that of 'deoxypyridinorine' (bone absorption marker) decreased as shown in the figure, by which it was revealed that intake of isoflavones prevents elution of bone.
